Centaur Poetry


[Zab] - Canantass
The skye was black of wind and smoke
His sword shining white
His arrow had a tinted stroke
Of the blood from fight

His roar filled the thick, black air
Among with cries of pain
Rain gathered in his long, dark hair
His life was spilled in vain

Hooves slipping on bloodred grass
A spear in his throat
Ever heard the name Canantass
Who died in Axiroat?

He was a centaur strong and brave
Killed in the pouring rain
He could not his own life save
But was in battle slain

Forever know his memory
As the warrior he was
He deserved his life in agony
But finding peace he has.
